Who is responsible
The controller of your personal data is Patrik Moravec (atrostars — handmade silver jewelry studio), ID No. (IČO) 22274758, registered office Pod Harfou 933/62, Vysočany, 190 00 Prague 9, Czech Republic, registered in the Czech Trade Licensing Register. Contact: atrostars@seznam.cz.
What we collect
Only what you type into the contact form: your name, email address and your message. We also process technical information generated when you visit the website, such as your IP address, where this is necessary for the secure operation of the website and related services. We do not ask for any other personal data and the site uses no advertising or tracking cookies.
Why, and on what basis
We use these details for a single purpose — to read and reply to your enquiry. If you contact us regarding a product, custom order or other potential business relationship, the legal basis for processing is the performance of steps prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). For general enquiries, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to communications addressed to us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Providing your personal data is voluntary, but without it we may be unable to respond to your enquiry.
Who receives it
To deliver your message we use trusted processors:
- Formspree, Inc. (USA) — routes the form submission to our inbox.
- Seznam.cz, a.s. (Czech Republic) — the email inbox that receives it.
- Vercel Inc. (USA/EU) — hosts the website; its servers process technical data such as your IP address in standard access logs. Site analytics are aggregated and cookieless.
These providers process personal data only on our behalf or as necessary to provide their respective services. We do not sell your personal data or use it for advertising or marketing purposes.
Transfers outside the EU
Some of the providers above are based in the United States. Transfers to them are safeguarded in line with the GDPR — either by the European Commission's adequacy decision for the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework (where the provider is certified) or by the Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. You can request details of these safeguards using the contact above.
No automated decision-making
Your data is not used for any automated decision-making or profiling.
How long we keep it
We retain enquiry emails only for as long as necessary to respond to your enquiry and any related follow-up communication. In general, correspondence is deleted within 12 months after the last communication unless a longer retention period is required by law or is necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, loss or other misuse.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may request access to your data, its correction or deletion, restriction of or objection to processing, and data portability. Where processing is based on legitimate interests, you also have the right to object to such processing. To exercise any of these rights, email atrostars@seznam.cz.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Czech Data Protection Authority — Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů (uoou.cz).
